  4. If you want good stuff you must share good stuff.
  5. Improve your shares for better (no boot, no cancel) access.
  6. Gurante your connectivity & higher priority.
  7. Message me when fixed so you can download what you like.
  8. Your download request may be cancelled utill such time.

  11. If you want to download better stuff
  12. you must share better stuff than mp3's
  13.

  15. By browsing every user who attempts to download.
  16. You can filter out LAMERS who share nothing and
  17. only LEECH from you. This will get you better stuff, faster.
  18. Click the "Shared Files" folder at the top of your left screen
  19. to see what you are sharing.

  21. You will get PRIORITY access for having good shares.

  23. 1. Your request gets bumped to the top of the Que.
  24. 2. Your files are guaranteed to completion.

  28. Click the HOTLIST button to open the message window.

  32.    Here is another trick known only to a select few.
  33. The big traders use it to id themselves to each other.
  34. Somewhere in your shared folders have some files with
  35. this info in the file names, the more file names with
  36. this web address in their file name the better ranking
  37. & priority to good stuff you will get. Just copy
  38. & paste what is inside the quotes into the end of file
  39. names " (www.101thrills.com) " It costs you
  40. nothing to try, and if you keep tack of completions
  41. you should see increases of 30 - 50% within a month
  42. of conciensious tracking. After personaly trying this
  43. for the past 3 weeks I've noticed a 10-20% increase.
  44. So it does seem to be effective. I also start people
  45. who have marked filez faster. Also make sure you only
  46. mark those filez that are under 1meg in size, the
  47. smaller the file size the better for obvious reasons.

  55. are still working after 3 months but you have to
  56. look around for them as they are not very obvious.
  57. Often the server is overloaded and times out which
  58. means it is to busy to answer right now.

  62. TIP: Your WinMX server is responding poorly or
  63. no search results show up when you do a search.
  64.  1.A lot of "Timed Out Waiting for server response"
  65. Too many filez QUED keep the filez you want in the
  66. "Busy Queuable" state untill both parties are ready
  67. to exchange filez.
  68. 2. The upper left corner of the WinMX main split screen
  69.  has a button marked "servers" click it here you can
  70.  stop wait 10 seconds or better and Re-Start.
  71. 3. There are 3 different servers and occasionally
  72.  update each of them by clicking the UPDATE button.
  73.  This gets you connected to the fresh & active servers
  74. that have come online or removes those that have overloaded
  75. and "TIMED OUT"

  79. TIP: Always mark filez in transfer as "AUTO RETRY"
  80. so that the other user can re-start your QUES
  81. without your intervention (some folks actually
  82. go to bed, work, bathroom, have sex), or generaly have
  83. much more of a life than you do. If you are impatient
  84. or curse people who don't start your filez when you
  85. want or expect them to. You might as well kill yourself
  86. or just get lost (you are a LAMER). Patience and
  87. waiting in line for your turn will eventually get
  88. you what you want. If you want it bad enough you must
  89. be willing to camp out for quite a while even a couple
  90. of days if you don't have much to share.
